Christian. Mom. Encourager. Friend

Hi! I’m Shannon, a 39-year-old divorced mama to three amazing kids: Miles (15), Sawyer (12), and Grace (9). I share my home and my heart with my two King Charles Cavalier Spaniels, Annie and Maizey, our cat, Buster, my Dad and my wonderful fiancé and his children, who makes this journey even sweeter.

I love Jesus and thank Him daily for His endless grace. I’m a Daddy’s girl through and through, and my sweet mom now watches over me from Heaven.

I’m a little impatient, a bit restless, and always on the move — whether I’m driving around with no destination in mind or chasing my next adventure. I’d pick roller coasters over cooking any day, leggings over jeans every time, and sunshine over snow, always.

I trust easily, laugh often, and embrace the messiness of life because, well... life is messy.

This space — my blog and my little corner of the internet — is my way of offering hope, encouragement, and a gentle reminder that you’re not alone. If you don’t know Jesus, I pray you find Him here. If your faith feels strong or if you’ve lost it altogether, you are so welcome here.

Let’s journey through this beautiful chaos together. I’m so glad you’re here. ✨

"Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness."

Colossians 2:7 NLT

To some individuals it’s a simple question, to others it’s complicated and could take them hours to come up with an answer that sounds good but may not be entirely true.

What are you “rooted” in?

You may be wondering what that means? It means, what is your life centered around? What are your thoughts centered around? What leads you to make the decisions that you make?

My hope is through reading this blog and meditating on scripture found throughout this site that you are able to confidently declare that you are rooted firmly in your faith.

Every single day is a new opportunity for you to grow in your relationship with Jesus.

Every day is a new opportunity for you to say “yes” to Him.
